This morning I wanted to remind our clients of our complete 12 step carpet cleaning process. We use the full 12 step process to protect our clients investment by leaving the carpet clean and without any soapy residue.
1. Pre-inspection –
a. Inspect your areas of concern
2. Commercial Pre-Vacuum
a. Thoroughly vacuum carpet to remove dry soil
3. Furniture Moving –
a. Carefully move Sofas, chairs and tables
b. Protect furniture with disposable blocks and tabs
4. Pre-spray & Pre-Spot –
a. Pre-spray carpet with cleaning compounds designed for the particular carpet & soil condition.
b. Pre-Spot areas of concern that were discussed with client
5. Pet Odor/Stain Treatment
6. Pre-Groom
7. Rinse & Extract –
a. Use truck-mounted hot water extraction process to thoroughly flush the carpet. This step sanitizes and deodorizes the carpet.
8. Neutralize –
a. Apply neutralizing treatment as a rinse thru the machine or apply after rinsing depending on soil conditions.
9. Post-Spot Treatment –
a. If any spots are not removed during the cleaning process, employ specialty-spotting techniques
10. Speed Dry –
a. Place high velocity air movers are on the carpet to speed up the drying process.
11. Post Grooming –
a. Set the carpet pile in one direction using a carpet rake for faster drying and more visual appeal.
12. Post Inspection –
a. Walk thru home with client to inspect carpet
